DAVE STAHL
Lead trumpet and soloist for top bands, including Woody Herman, Count Basie, Buddy Rich, and Toshiko Akiyoshi.
Performed with Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, and Sarah Vaughan, among others.
Formed the Dave Stahl Band in 1977 and released Anaconda in 1987.
Grammy-winning album with Woody Herman
Featured performer in the International Brass Conference tribute to Maynard Ferguson.
Performed for Queen Elizabeth II and appeared in the Leonard Feather Encyclopedia of Jazz.
